How to make the most of your New York trip

April 17, 2009

Because there are so many tourist attractions in New York, it’s probably hard to decide how and where you’ll spend your precious time.  Well, why not start by jotting down Things to do in New York City?

Let’s get started by taking a leisurely walk around Central Park.  This is a haven to escape the busy and noisy life in New York.  You can also take a boat ride or have a picnic while watching the time go by.

If you’re an art lover, a visit to the Metropolitan Museum of Art will keep you occupied.  There are more than 2 millions of art works from around the world and different history.

Take a free ride of the Staten Island Ferry which takes you from lower Manhattan to Staten Island.  Enjoy the view of the harbor and the famous Statue of Liberty while you’re onboard.

A quick stop at the Ground Zero, the former site of the World Trade Center which was attacked by terrorists will be interesting.  It has become a prominent location in the Big Apple’s tourism.  You can say a short prayer for all the victims of this tragic event.

There are still so many places to see in NYC, the internet should help you choose which ones are worthy of your visit.  Have a great trip!
